Specially designed steel beams have been delivered to the Rail Baltica construction site at RIX Riga Airport! These 3-meter-high, weather-resistant beams are intended to connect the already built Rail Baltica overpass supports.
This innovative steel gradually develops a patina – a natural oxide layer that protects the material from environmental effects. It has a warm, orange-brown hue and requires no regular maintenance or painting, significantly reducing long-term operating costs and environmental impact. Such material is widely used in infrastructure projects, including bridges, overpasses, tunnels, and industrial buildings. In recent years, it has also gained popularity in architectural and landscape design. Thanks to its durability and sustainability, these beams will play a key role in the next stage of Rail Baltica construction.
LNK Industries is carrying out the construction as part of BSL Infra.
