With years of experience in housing developments, LNK Industries was selected to build an ultra-modern student and young professional complex facing Jelgavas Street 8 un 12, Riga.

The SHED Co living complex is designed to fit into historical building facades in the area of Jelgavas Street. With two buildings, one six-storey and one four-storey, it creates a perfect synergy with the University of Latvia’s buildings and the business center’s office across the Kilevena ditch. Both buildings are constructed with maintenance-free finishing materials. The exterior is made up of brick tiles and wood, and the facades are glazed with very large windows. Along the Kilevena ditch, a green roof terrace has been created, creating a homey feeling.

The interior has a modern look and feel. There are in total 240 studio-type apartments, both single and double rooms, for potential residents to choose from. These apartments are fully furnished, equipped with a kitchen, bathroom, study and sleeping area. Another benefit is that residents can control the ventilation system in their home independently.

The buildings also feature spacious common areas where students can relax, play sports, or study. The facility offers such indoor common areas as co-working spaces, leisure and gaming rooms, gym, large common kitchens, and coffee spots, as well as outdoor chill spots, a terrace, parking spaces and bicycle racks.
