Our “SHED Co-Living Riga” apartment building, situated at Jelgavas Street 8 in Riga, has been honored in the “Sustainability in Architecture, Construction, and Design 2023” competition, specifically in the “Most Sustainable Building – Public Building” category.
Our service hotel complex seamlessly blends into the historic Jelgavas Street development, fostering synergy with Latvian University’s educational buildings. It boasts contemporary finishes, modern interiors, well-organized surroundings, and thoughtful landscaping. Inside, exposed concrete and wood create a unique atmosphere, while the exterior features extensive window glazing and a lush rooftop terrace.
With 240 fully furnished studio-type apartments, each equipped with its own sanitary facilities, kitchen, and adjustable ventilation system, our building offers comfort and independence. Shared spaces for activities and a well-maintained surrounding area with spacious lawns, relaxation areas, and ample bicycle parking further enhance the living experience.
Designed as nearly zero-energy buildings with A-class energy efficiency ratings, we’ve incorporated various solutions to reduce energy consumption. Our valued client is SIA “J12,” and the project is designed by SIA “DUAL architects,” with construction supervision provided by SIA “Architecture and Construction Engineering Service”.
This competition showcases not only the best but also the most sustainable structures in the Baltic States, organized by the “Building Design and Construction Council” association.”
