Latvian Construction Annual Award 2024
At the Latvian Construction Annual Award 2024, we won 1st place in the “Engineering Structure – Reconstruction” category for the reconstruction of the breakwater at Klaipėda State Seaport and the reinforcement of a section of the Curonian Spit slope.
As part of the construction works at Klaipėda Port implemented three significant development projects, including the construction of two retaining walls for the pier structure and the installation of an anchoring system, which completed the Southern Breakwater reconstruction. More than 300 meters of an underwater wall were built using steel pipes drilled into the breakwater structure, along with an underwater anchoring system for the retaining wall spanning over 120 meters. All works were carried out from floating platforms 24/7 and were completed within the set deadlines.
