The Office Building “V118” in Riga Has Been Officially Opened
Following extensive renovation, this modern, energy-efficient, and environmentally friendly Class A office building now stands on Krišjāņa Valdemāra Street in Riga. The building comprises offices and commercial spaces, totaling 8000 square meters. Adjacent to the building, a well-organized area with parking for 180 cars has been created. On the ground floor, there is a functional lobby, a cafeteria, an outdoor terrace, and space for commercial premises where shops and salons can be established. The “V118” office building adheres to the highest energy efficiency standards. During the renovation, the reinforced concrete frame was preserved while entirely transforming its visual appearance. The construction process prioritized secondary recycling and environmentally friendly materials, including the sorting and recycling of construction waste.

Despite the challenges that arose during construction, thanks to our company’s experience in building renovation and previous collaboration with the developer SIA ‘LNK Properties,’ as well as the constructive cooperation of all parties involved in the project, we have successfully delivered the office building ‘V118’ for operation. Riga has gained another modern office building. We are satisfied with the work done on the construction site, and ‘V118’ has also become the new home for our company ‘AS LNK Industries,’ where we feel comfortable and at ease,” says Genadijs Kamkalovs, Director of AS “LNK Industries.”
To enhance energy efficiency, solar panels were installed, and automatic facade blinds were added for temperature control. A ventilated facade and a white roof covering were incorporated. Facade lighting is automatically regulated based on time settings, reducing electricity consumption and light pollution. The creation of a green area in the adjacent territory preserved 99% of existing plantings and trees.
The ventilation system of the “V118” office building includes air humidification, improving the indoor microclimate during the heating season. Increased glass surfaces allow for ample natural light, and three-chambered opening windows provide excellent external sound insulation.
The building has been awarded LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) certification, an international recognition. LEED is one of the most widely used green building rating systems globally and serves as a model for a modern, environmentally friendly business center.
