Heart of Hanza is one of our largest and most technically complex civil construction projects, located in a UNESCO World Cultural and Natural Heritage protection zone in Riga, at 3B Hanzas Street.
The landscaping of the territory is being carried out on two levels: at the 1st-floor level above the underground parking garage and partially at the 2nd-floor level above the commercial premises. The two levels are connected by a slope with artificial turf and a children’s playground. Nearly 1,000 m² of concrete walkways with an integrated rainwater drainage system have been built, along with sports areas, bicycle stands, and a dedicated active zone for dog walking.
Approximately 450 m³ of soil has been used for landscaping, and a modern automatic irrigation system has been installed. By the end of the year, it is planned to plant not only 72 trees and 630 shrubs but also nearly 5,000 ornamental grasses, perennials, and bulb plants.
All landscaping work is being carried out with a high degree of technical precision, following sustainable environmental principles and creating a functional, aesthetic urban environment.
The building is scheduled for commissioning in the spring of 2026.
