The design of this residential complex, built on the bank of the River Daugava, included enough innovative architectonic and technical solutions to win the project nationwide recognition and five awards. One of the design challenges was binding the concrete-encased decorative columns to the frame of the building — especially on the bottom level, as the bottom columns are two storeys high. The living quarters are located along the perimeter of the cylinder-shaped building, surrounding the green courtyard in the centre.
