This was LNK Industries’ first large-scale architectural heritage reconstruction project. During the initial stage of the reconstruction, among the disintegrating buildings on the property the workers found a WWII hand grenade that was later detonated with professional help. The reconstructed building at 5 Alberta Street now has 30 apartments, as well as several technical rooms, a library, a poolroom and a children’s playroom.
