Achievements in 2024: the Rail Baltica Project at Riga Airport
Visitors of the RIX Riga Airport have already witnessed the progress of the Rail Baltica station and track construction this year.
– load-bearing reinforced concrete frame for the station building completed,
– construction of the P1 and P5 parking lots – done,
– engineering network rebuilding and concreting viaduct piles in the P3 parking area has began,
– office building on Piestātnes Street – taken down,
– construction of the viaduct is underway

AS “LNK Industries” is carrying out the construction work as part of the consortium “BSL Infra,” which includes the Austrian company “Swietelsky AG” and Latvian construction companies: road construction firm SIA “Binders,” and one of the largest construction companies in Latvia, AS “LNK Industries.”
The Rail Baltica railway station at Riga Airport will be the first high-speed rail and air transport connection hub in the Baltics.
