JSC LNK Industries has signed a contract with the Klaipėda State Seaport Authority for the implementation of the reconstruction project of Quay No. 3. The project предусматривает the modernization of port infrastructure and the reconstruction of the quay. The total contract value amounts to EUR 8,215,884.27 (including VAT). Reconstruction works are scheduled to commence at the beginning of 2026 and are planned to be completed by the end of 2026.
During the project implementation, the existing 250-metre-long quay wall and superstructure will be reconstructed, along with pavement renewal and the installation of vessel mooring equipment. The works will be carried out under complex conditions, close to the port gates of Klaipėda and within the most intensive vessel traffic zone, while maintaining uninterrupted quay operations and vessel mooring throughout the entire reconstruction period.
This project will provide the port with an additional modern quay capable of accommodating vessels with a greater draught. As a result of the reconstruction, the quay depth will be increased to 16.5 metres, enabling it to receive vessels up to 275 metres in length in the future. Currently, the quay can accommodate vessels of up to 230 metres in length.

LNK Industries has previously successfully implemented several significant infrastructure projects at the Port of Klaipėda. The most recent of these, completed in 2024, included the construction of two breakwater support walls and the installation of an anchoring system, marking the final stage of the South Breakwater reconstruction. The works were carried out in water using floating equipment and above-water lifting platforms, at the narrowest point of the Port of Klaipėda, the port gates, an area characterized by intensive vessel traffic. Despite numerous challenges, the project was successfully completed within the established timeframe.
