The Construction of the “Heart of Hanza” Complex Continues
LNK Industries continues the construction of a residential project with commercial spaces on the ground floor – Heart of Hanza in the historic center of Riga, on Hanzas Street. The residential complex, which will offer 127 apartments ranging in size from 45 to 350 square meters, is the largest civil construction project undertaken by LNK Industries to date.
Significant work has already been completed at the site, including the demolition of existing engineering networks and the electrical substation, the construction of piles and sheet piles, as well as the installation of external utilities and a drainage system. All three tower cranes have been installed, and the concrete work for the basement walls, columns, and beams for the A and B buildings has been completed.
Currently, earthworks, the construction of concrete structures in the basement, waterproofing work, and grounding installation are underway. In October, bricklaying and roof structure construction are planned to begin on the basement level.
To ensure that the construction meets the quality requirements of premium-class homes and the architects’ vision, the best solutions for facades, windows, and balcony railings are currently being sought.
The construction site is located within Riga’s historic center and the UNESCO World Heritage protection zone, therefore, the work is being carried out with the utmost care, using innovative technologies. The building is scheduled to be completed in early 2026. The project developer is LNK Properties, with architectural and interior design by AB3D.
